1. From Prague airport to the main railway station of Prague (going by train is the best travel option from Prague to Pardubice)
To reach the main railway station of Prague you can also go by taxi or by public transportation.

From the airport to the main railway station the maximum fare will be around 560 CZK (23 EUR).
Public transportation:
Bus no. 119 to Dejvicka (terminal stop) --> Transfer to Metro (Subway): green line to Muzeum -->Tansfer to red line: one station to Hlavni nadrazi (Main Railway Station).
This will take about 45 minutes, depending on waiting time in between the transfer connections.
Ticket: You can buy a Prague public transportation ticket at the airport – there are machines from which you can buy them. A Prague public transportation ticket costs 32 CZK (1,5 EUR).
To validate your ticket, mark it by sticking it into a yellow machine with a green glowing arrow.
2. Prague Main railway station (Praha Hlavni nadrazi) to Pardubice Main railway Station (Pardubice Hlavni nadrazi)
Many of the trains leaving from Prague stop in Pardubice. You can take any IC (InterCity) train or an EC (EuroCity) train going to Pardubice. Please ask the personal at the railway station to tell you which trains stop in Pardubice.
From Prague to Pardubice takes about 1hr and 10min.

There are aslo Super City trains: they are a bit faster but you have to pay an extra fee.
Prague´s main railway station has directing boards and announcements in English and the personel is used to speak basic English.
3. Pardubice main station to your hotel
From the railway station in Pardubice to your hotel it is best to take a taxi. There is a taxi stand right outside the building of the station. From the main station to your hotel it should not cost more than 100 CZK (4 EUR).

Pardubice is famous for its yearly steeple chase as part of a big two-day festival. The festival takes place on the 8th and 9th of October.
